Guest login is a feature that allows users who do not have a neem account to enter areas using a guest avatar. Now even those without an account can enjoy neem!
Entering Areas Using Guest Login
Guest login is available when not logged in to an account. Using guest avatars, anyone can freely enter an area. Learn how to enter areas here.
Note: neem Browser is needed to enter areas. When entering an area for the first time, you will be prompted to download neem Browser. Follow the instructions on screen to download and install it.
Selecting an Area to Enter
Even if a user is not logged in, they will be able to view areas and shops. Visit the neem Dashboard here.
Clicking Home in the header navigation displays a list of areas that can be visited. Let’s select an area from the list to enter.
After clicking on an area, its page will open. Clicking on Play As Guest will start up neem Browser so you can enter the area.
Enter an Area Using a URL
When you enter an area’s URL into your browser’s address bar, the page will load up as if you clicked on Play As Guest. Doing this practically sends you directly into an area.
Avatar Select and Terms of Service
Once neem Browser opens, you’ll be able to create an avatar you’d like to use. After making the avatar, a dialog will display. Here you will be able to select a Display Name and enter the area after agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Be sure to read through the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before using neem.
After clicking on the Log In button, you will load in to the area with the avatar you selected.
Entering an Area While Logged In
If you have already created a neem account but you are not logged in to it, the Play button will display as Play As Guest.
If you would like to enter an area while logged in to your neem account, be sure to log in by clicking on Sign in at the top right of the screen.
Notes Regarding Guest Login
While using guest login, the following features will be unavailable:
- Change/Edit avatar after entering an area
- Edit profile
- Join live streams or video/voice chats
