This video showcases essential elements needed to make a game. With the no-code game creation tools, you can easily implement these elements in your own games.
Here are examples of different game elements that can implemented into a game made with neem:
- Game stages
- Game progress management
- Conversations with NPCs
- Enemy characters
- Combat mechanics
- Character health
- Level design elements (switches and more)
Creating a Moving Platform with a Switch
Watch how we demonstrate how the tools work by creating a platform that moves up and down using a switch.
Although the UI still needs to be improved and may look a bit complex, you can see how these tools will allow you to create games without the need to write any code. All you need to do is combine parts and functions!
Here is what was done in the video:
- Added a model be used as the platform
- Set up the platform to move up and down using an animation
- Added a model to act as a switch
- Set the switch to turn the platform movement on and off
Once we completed the above, the platform could now be switched on and off using the switch.
Upcoming Plans
During the beta, we will continue to regularly update the tools leading up to the full release.
Regarding the beta:
- Games can only be created for single player use only
- Some tools may not work as expected or may be buggy
